Executive Vice President, EMC Corporation and President, RSA, The Security Division of EMC
Art Coviello is responsible for RSA’s strategy and day-to-day operations as it delivers EMC’s global vision of information-centric security.
Mr. Coviello was Chief Executive Officer of RSA Security, Inc. prior to its acquisition by EMC in 2006. He joined the company in 1995 and has been a driving force in its rapid growth, increasing revenue from $25 million in 1995 to revenues of more than a half billion in 2007. Under his stewardship RSA became acknowledged as the de facto standard for two-factor authentication and encryption, and as a leader in identity and access management. Mr. Coviello’s expertise and influence have made him a recognized leader in the industry, where he plays a key role in several national cyber-security initiatives. He currently serves as Co-Chair of TechNet New England. Mr. Coviello has spoken at numerous conferences and forums around the world.
Mr. Coviello has more than 30 years of strategic, operating and financial management experience in high technology companies. In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Directors at Sana Security, Crossbeam Systems and EnerNOC.
Mr. Coviello graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts.

As Chief Technology Officer at RSA, the Security Division of EMC, Bret Hartman is responsible for defining the corporate security technology strategy for EMC, as implemented by the RSA division. Prior to RSA, Mr. Hartman was Chief Technology Officer, Information Security, at EMC Corporation.
Mr. Hartman has over twenty-five years of experience building information security solutions for major enterprises. His expertise includes Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services security, policy development and management, and security modeling and analysis. Mr. Hartman has spoken at dozens of security and privacy industry events and is a recognized authority on distributed systems security.
Prior to EMC, Mr. Hartman was Director of Technical Services for SOA Appliances at IBM Corporation, and was also Vice President of Technology Solutions at DataPower Technology Inc. (acquired by IBM). Mr. Hartman’s previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Quadrasis Security (Hitachi Computer Products); Vice President, e-Security Services and Chief Security Architect at Concept Five Technology; President and Co-Founder of BlackWatch Technology Inc; and Director of Information Security at Odyssey Research Associates. Mr. Hartman began his distinguished career as a U.S. Air Force officer assigned to the U.S. National Security Agency.
At the U.S. National Security Agency Mr. Hartman helped to create the "DoD Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria" (Orange Book). Mr. Hartman was a co-author of Object Management Group’s CORBA Security specification, and co-edited the Security Scenarios document produced by the WS-I Basic Security Profile Working Group. Mr. Hartman also co-authored "Mastering Web Services Security" (Wiley 2003), "Enterprise Security with EJB and CORBA" (Wiley 2001), and US patent 6,807,636: "Methods and Apparatus for Facilitating Security in a Network".
Mr. Hartman holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

Senior Vice President, Global Customer Operations
Tom Heiser is Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Professional Services at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. A 24-year veteran of EMC and a member of its executive management team, Heiser was named to this new role in July 2008.
Prior to assuming his current role, he was directly involved in the formation of EMC's Cloud Infrastructure and Services Division. He also served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and New Ventures, leading the team responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions and New Business Development, EMC Investments, Post-Acquisition Integration Management and New Ventures.
Heiser has also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of EMC’s Centera Business Unit. Under his direction, EMC launched the world’s first content-addressed storage (CAS) solution, transforming this technology into the industry’s benchmark system for active archiving, compliance, and retention, and into one of EMC’s fastest-growing product businesses over the last several years. Prior to launching the CAS Business Unit, Heiser was responsible for the development of EMC’s Global Telco and Service Provider sales force.
Heiser also established EMC’s first significant Channel Sales effort. Over the five-year period that he ran the group, sales grew from $8 million in 1995 to more than $2 billion globally. The Channel grew from Regional Systems Integrators and VARs to include the Big Five Consultants, ISVs, and OEMs.
Heiser joined EMC in 1984 as a sales trainee and rose into increasingly senior sales management positions, including Area Manager and District Manager. Throughout his tenure at EMC, he has played a key role in EMC’s growth. Early in his career, for example, he was responsible for developing EMC’s first direct sales office in New York City and also served as the product manager for EMC’s first storage system, Orion, the predecessor of the company’s Symmetrix systems.

Mark Quigley

As Senior Vice President of Operations at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, Mark Quigley is responsible for Operations, Information Technology, Product Security, Corporate Development and Customer Services. Prior to joining RSA, Mr. Quigley was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at EMC Corporation. In this role, Mr. Quigley was responsible for leading EMC’s global Information Technology operations which encompasses Applications Development, Global Technology, Global Client Services, Portfolio Management, and Information Security. By ensuring a close partnership with EMC’s externally-facing organizations, the IT organization under Mr. Quigley’s leadership delivered quality technology solutions and services that facilitated the ability for customers and partners to do business with the company. In addition, under Mr. Quigley’s direction, EMC IT effectively integrated over two dozen mergers and acquisitions into core EMC infrastructure and business processes, allowing EMC to realize rapid strategic gain associated with the acquisitions.
Mr. Quigley has been with EMC for 14 years and started his career as a Sales and Marketing Controller with responsibilities expanded over the years to North American Sales Operations, Global Sales Operations, and Global Business Operations for Sales and Service. Prior to becoming CIO at EMC, Mr. Quigley served as Senior Vice President, Global Customer Business Operations. Mr. Quigley has been a key player in numerous strategic initiatives at senior levels of the company, from the redesign of EMC's go-to-market strategy to the development and implementation of key business processes.
Before joining EMC, Mr. Quigley served as Controller for Digital Equipment Corporation in several departments, including its software distribution business, U.S. manufacturing operations, and the PC business group. Mr. Quigley holds a B.S. in finance from Babson College.

Senior Vice President, Products
As Senior Vice President of Products at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, Mr. Young is responsible for strategy, products, engineering and delivery across all of RSA's Identity and Access Assurance, Security Information and Event Management, and Data Security solutions.
When he first joined RSA, Mr. Young built RSA's highly successful Identity Protection and Verification business, which includes products such as RSA Adaptive Authentication that today protect over 150 million online bank accounts globally. Today he is responsible for all of RSA’s product lines.
As a leading expert in topics related to information-centric security, Mr. Young has spoken at numerous industry events including FORTUNE Brainstorm: TECH, Gartner IT Security Summit, Burton Catalyst, RSA Conference (U.S., Europe and Japan), BITS Authentication Forum, Digital ID World, and others.
Prior to joining RSA, Mr. Young was vice president of safety and security premium services for America Online, Inc. (AOL). While at AOL, Mr. Young launched and managed several services including AOL Passcode and McAfee VirusScan Online – some of the most successful premium offerings in AOL's history.
Mr. Young also founded and was president of Cyveillance, Inc., a firm leveraging search technologies to help companies manage business risk related to their intellectual property on the Internet, and also spent several years in various advisory positions with Mercer Management Consulting.
Mr. Young holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
